We are looking for a knowledgeable Ophthalmologist with DHA License to be responsible for repairing traumatic eye injuries, diagnosing eye ailments, and prescribing medications. The ophthalmologist’s responsibilities range from simple duties, such as prescribing corrective lenses, to performing highly advanced duties, such as keyhole or laser surgery.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform examination, investigations, and manage of patients with disease problems related to the eye.
• Establish and maintain professional standards for quality patient care.
• Supervise or work in coordination with the optometrist depending on the case.
• Review pre-operative exam done by nurse or optometrist.
• Provide particular expertise in performing refractive surgical procedures as well as other eye-related expertise.
• Perform ophthalmic procedures and lasers (or any other intervention) at the hospital.
• Record all data of the patient’s medical record in accordance with international standards, DHCC standards.
• Represent Company in the Committee of Ophthalmology related to seminars and symposia.
• Plan and oversee the clinic sessions to fulfill the patients’ needs.
• Actively participates in any training program or education activity related to Ophthalmology Surgery and or Medicine.
• Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned with the realms of his knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Position: Full time

Salary: As mentioned above can be discussed during the interview.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: AED40,000.00 – AED65,000.00 per month
