NES FIRCROFT Hiring for Design Engineer for Oil and Gas Equipment Maintenance and Fabrication Company – U.A.E. Job at Dubai Full Time

Reporting into the Project Engineering Manager, we are looking for a mechanical or chemical engineer with at least 7 years previous experience overseeing the planning and production of various products and machinery, their completion within contract agreements with clients, ensuring they are safe, cost-effective and of acceptable quality.

Some of the key responsibilities of the role will be:

• To work with the multi-disciplinary team to develop new and current designs.
• Ensure necessary product documentation.
• Reviewing fabrication drawings and other construction submittals for conformance to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Checking calculations made by other engineers to ensure accuracy, conformance to codes, specifications, design criteria and conformance to good engineering practice.
• Producing designs with efficient use of construction materials.
• Assisting the drafting group in resolving routine layout and detailing problems.
• Accomplishing engineering activities such as stress analysis, construction specifications, material procurement specifications
• Development of process flow diagrams and piping and instrumentation diagrams.
• To develop front end engineering design, detailed design amongst others.

The ideal candidate will have Knowledge on thermodynamics, design standards and codes including ASME, and experience with boilers, fire heaters, flares and thermal design of shell and tube heat exchangers and air coolers.
