McCormick & Company Hiring for ACCOUNT MANAGER Job at Dubai Full Time

To support the commercial team in delivering the budget sales and profit numbers for McCormick through effective customer management. Responsibilities include pursuing and winning business development opportunities with new customers in line with our strategic direction and deliver a service to the Operations and Supply Chain functions.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee and manage McCormick accounts within cost and inventory targets determined by the business (Intercompany accounts, Domestic accounts, Global accounts in conjunction with commercial team).
• Prepare account plans for allocated customers in conjunction with commercial team.
• Build forecast intelligence/ customer insight on customers through order history, communication and relationships. Pass relevant information to commercial team and Finance functions.
• Ensure achievement of sales and profit targets (NSV and GM), effective management of customer P&L. Working closely with the internal business team – Financial manager to ensure the business delivers volume and profit aligned to McCormick strategy.
• Liaise with the management team and customer contacts in customer relationship building and performance improvement activities e.g. customer visits and maintain and improve relationships with all departments within both the customer and McCormick.
• Identify and implement, in conjunction with both internal and external customers, development and improvement opportunities regarding product and information flow, in order to improve efficiencies within the supply chain.
• Push to get samples for business ideas in advance of agreement from the business or customer, innovate, take risks, can be fully relied upon to be proactive and lead customer activity and handle real complexity within the McCormick business to get the job done at a pace, delivering to the customer but taking away the pain of doing business.
• Handling Complexity – Ensure promotional plans are effectively executed within agreed budgets. Fully evaluate all promotional activity post execution for future investment and financial return
• Ensure all activities are effectively planned and executed. Full planning activity via S&OP integrated into daily business planning & review.
• Manage sales projects through R&D.
• Working closely with other Industrial teams across EMEA to ensure alignment on strategic initiatives / pricing etc.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Sales professional with proven successful FMCG experience including significant dealings with B2B
• Strong financial/commercial understanding together with ability to interpret and manage P&L
• Excellent interpersonal and people management skills
• Proven customer management skills
• Good communicator both verbal and written
• Proven influencing and negotiation skills
• Ability to build and sustain relationships at all levels (internal and external)
• Good project management skills
• Good PC skills.
