We are looking for someone energetic, curious, and interested in assisting with our communications efforts in the Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey (MENAT) team, as part of a broader regional communications team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for driving comms initiatives, assisting with crafting narratives, supporting senior members of the team, and a willingness to learn and further develop their skills as a communication professional.

Responsibilities:

• Support the MENAT communications team in managing and executing local communications plans
• Assist with developing press materials, briefings, press statements, pitches, presentations and events
• Conduct research and curate ideas for projects and/or events
• Daily media coverage monitoring, compiling, and reporting post-campaign results
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams on communications materials, including newsroom blog posts, media pitches, newsletters, and campaign launch materials
• Proofreading and content preparation
• Maintenance of the contacts database

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field
• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field
• 1-2 years of communications experience (PR/Comms agency experience preferable)
• Understanding of local markets and trends
• Good understanding of the media landscape in the MENAT region
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Turkish, with Arabic a bonus
• Highly organised with good attention to detail
• Able to take direction and execute tasks seamlessly
• Willingness to take on different responsibilities and tasks as needed
