We are looking for a Senior R&D Manager Prepress, Inks & Printing to strengthen our Flexible Packaging Innovation and Product Development organization
The role can be based in one of our Flexible locations across Europe, Middle East and Africa, India and Southeast Asia.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop external and internal collaboration, build and maintain relationships with key partners and suppliers.
- Lead the Global Expert Community in Prepress & Printing
- Lead the technology platform for the area of expertise, ensure mastery of the core technology Prepress & Printing, with focus on Fundamental R&D, processes and Materials, mainly Inks & Solvents
- Consult across business operations, proactively deploy expert knowledge and contributing specialized knowledge in R&D and Capex projects
- Drive Innovation and manage global pipe-line Prepress & Print technology development. Provide effective platform and roadmaps as base for future business demand and sustainable packaging solution
- Drive standardization across the segment
- Lead the process and be the facilitator for the generation of new patent filing and participate in cross-functional teams to generate IP
KEY SUCCESS FACTORS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: B.S.c/Packaging degree with min 5 years of experience working in the relevant area of Prepress & Print, in all conventional and digital printing technologies. Broad knowledge on inks, solvents, and Regulatory affairs in food packaging.
- Advanced knowledge of business operations and project management.
- Ability to lead without solid lines as Global professional with strong cross-cultural awareness, personal responsibility and professionalism, initiative
- Self-motivated person with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, expertise in MS office tools
- Willing to travel and accept flexible working hours
