MIS Team Leader, P grade
Department Description:
The Compliance Organisation Unit is responsible for ensuring that the Bank complies with all relevant external laws and regulations applicable in the various jurisdictions that the Bank operates in Significantly this includes compliance with Sanctions Anti Money LaunderingAML and Counter Terrorist FinancingCTF requirements not only of the countries that the Bank operates in but increasingly there is an expectation of compliance with those of key US and EU regulators
Brief Description:
Setting out the relevant regulatory requirements and expectations that the Bank must comply with in an Obligations Register which then maps these to the Banks policies procedures and processesincluding systems
Working with the business to monitor and set appropriate policies procedures and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements expectations and industry best practices
Providing official written and informal guidance and advice on Compliance matters to the respective businesses as and when requiredeg on a client product or transaction basis
Ensuring that appropriate training is given to all relevant staff on the Banks policies and procedures This includes the provision of training on key policies and procedures such as Sanctions AML and CTF
Undertaking periodic risk based Compliance Monitoring to ensure the Banks policies and procedures are being complied with and escalates to management significant noncompliance
Detailed Description:
Compliance Department needs to submit information regularly to the senior management regulators law enforcement auditors and other teams within the bank This information should be submitted within an agreed timeframe and should be accurate and complete The role will cover the following activities
Responsible for timely accurate and complete reporting to the senior management regulators law enforcement and auditors
Building and leading high performing MIS team to provide MIS as per Compliance department needs
Developing and executing plan for delivering complex MIS needs like annual Central Bank audits
Managing MIS related projects with high productivity and efficiency
Developing and standardising MIS requirements across multiple compliance decks
Monitoring MIS performance regularly and improving it
Preparing and delivering Compliance metric packs
Inform request and collate data from multiple teams across multiple jurisdictions
Streamlining the process for compliance metric packs with the help of latest business intelligence tools
Assisting compliance team for thematic review such as correspondent banking queries review
Job Requirements:
Providing monthly scheduled regulatory MIS including Iranian reporting
Providing quarterly RBS baseline report
Providing half yearly MLRO report
Providing annual AMLCFT questionnaire data
Providing adhoc MIS regulatory needs
Developing and presenting monthly KRI Reporting deck
Developing and presenting monthly Correspondent Bank deck
Providing quarterly slides for GRC and BAC packs
Supporting adhoc MIS needs from Compliance Leadership team
Understanding the requirements preparing the plan and delivering complex MIS needs
Usage of technology for automation
Usage of BI tools for automation
Recruit necessary resources for MIS requirements
Manage MIS resources for MIS needs
Additional Details:
1 Strong knowledge of latest reporting and dashboard solutions
2 Strong knowledge of data analysis presentation and reporting
3 Good knowledge of AML typologies
4 Basic knowledge of Banking products and operations
5 Basic knowledge of compliance systems
6 Understanding of compliance products and processes
Expertise in managing MIS projects
Strong in Business intelligence tools such as Cognos Power BI and Qlikview
Strong data collection and analysis skills
Strong knowledge of SAS Enterprise Guide
Strong SQL knowledge
Strong knowledge of Microsoft excel along with macros
