Currently, we are currently looking for a passionate and energetic Pricing Specialist to be based in the DGF – Industrial Projects. In this role, the successful candidate will provide commercially viable, solution driven, competitive and winning quotations for all enquiries from IP customers and Network.

Possessing the skill and intelligence that ensures offers are developed and aligned with the DHL product, network capability and service objectives which meet and exceed customer needs through managing all internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all enquiries from Customers, Network and Internal stakeholders are acknowledged and answered with the best inclass rates and solutions within the required KPI’s and timelines.
• Possessing high level of data analytical skills to analyse own and department performance metrics, identify trends, patters and synthesize information objectively from the pricing dashboard to reach tangible goals or outcomes that improve the quality of bid submissions
• Utilising Continuous Improvement methodologies by deploying structured process reviews, recognising weaknesses and opportunities in the procurement and pricing process
• Strive towards a zero error, improve on an all-encompassing, comprehensive, standardised Handover process of quotations/files to respective Operations & Customer service team in place for all business awards.
• Maintain excellent contact with Carriers, Subcontractors and other stake-holders in order procure and negotiate the best & cost effective solutions for all enquiries.
• Manage effective stakeholder communication plans by leading regular and proactive discussions with external and internal stakeholders, serving as the lead liaison between commercial owners and all other parties or SME’s whose input is required to complete the quotation response or win probability
• Ensure Key customers are met with commercial account owners to further strengthen the bond between customer and the company with an end view of selling premiums based on “Relationship” that eliminates discussions or decisions from clients based on “Margins”
• Engage colleagues in new learnings, apply all key learnings and best practices so that they are used to effectively manage future quotations to customers
• Collaborate with closely and support offshore colleagues quoting to IP customers

Job Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

• International Logistics and Supply Chain Management
• Statistics
• Procurement
• Business and Data Analytics – Power Bi, Q-link
• System proficiency – Global Transport Management, quoteshop, Oracle, SAP
• Diploma or Graduate in any field
• Statistical Analysis
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Procurement role especially in Project forwarding.
