As Group Leader, you will be responsible for development, delivery, implementation and maintenance of Cards Issuing & Acquiring.
- This role manages the Bank’s payment ecosystem related to Cards issuing & acquiring (Debit, Credit, Prepaid and eDirham) and also provides secondary support to Public Sector Payments & E-Commerce business
- This role handles 10+ Applications including critical applications Vision+, IST Switch, e-Dirham-Card24 and provides secondary support to Switches, Tasheel, Merchant Wallet, eCommerce Platform and ATMs
- You will have management responsibility for a team of 10+ members including contract based SMEs.
- Delivery requires contractual and delivery management across 10+ vendors and a number of internal teams in WBG, PBG, Operations, Compliance, Risk and Security
- Deals with external agencies including MOF, External auditors and Fiserv Auditors.
Main responsibilities will be as follows:
- To design, develop and implement secure business function on cards applications as per existing software development standards.
- Providing support and advice to IT Development and Support teams with regard to Cards applications as well as public sector payments applications.
- Maintain an overview of the infrastructure and users to constantly reassess the environment and rationalize them.
- To be as a reference and guide to your colleagues in the cards industry in order to mentor them.
- Maintaining relationship with business users to manage the delivery of cards projects.
- Maintain relationships with Schemes, vendors, and regulatory organizations for all cards and payments industry related matters as well as delivery.
- Ensuring uniform and cohesive monitoring applied across the relevant infrastructures.
- Review and re-engineer architecture of Cards systems, technical models
- Managing internal projects and providing reporting to the management team.
- Responsible for a delivery team with wide range of experience, expertise, and technology knowledge.
- Business oriented person who can provide and add value to service delivery lifecycle.
