We are currently seeking an experienced cloud technology professional to join our Enterprise IT (EIT) organization in the capacity of ‘Senior Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure’.

ROLE PURPOSE

Reporting to the Manager- Cloud Operations and Delivery, you will be in a technical, individual contributor role, responsible for Design, Build, Delivery, Support, Security, Continuous optimization, and improvement of Cloud and On-Premises workloads.

Accountabilities

• Design, implement and maintain the infrastructures covering Cloud (Azure) & On-premises Data Centre in coordination with Solution Architect and Technical Product Owners.
• Implement and manage cloud-native solution using VDI, Kubernetes, Serverless, Docker Containers, etc.
• Continuous implementation of Automation, DevOps & Site Reliability Engineering practices to modernize the operations of the Cloud resources
• Review Infrastructure as a Code framework and provide improvements, develop, and deploy new pipelines.
• Evaluate Cloud workloads (IaaS, PaaS), identify optimization opportunities and contribute to overall cost reduction.
• Design disaster recovery solution conduct disaster recovery test of critical systems in coordination with business stakeholders.
• Drive life cycle management of systems in coordination with business stakeholders, migrate the systems to the modern platforms
• Troubleshooting of complex technical problems in the related technical competence areas, Identification of root cause and contribution to technical and operational corrective actions
• Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure environment regarding system design, installation, configuration, testing, upgrade, and operating procedures.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Qualification & Certifications:

• College or University degree in Computer Science/IT or a related discipline
• Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified Protection Administrator, Microsoft Certified Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
• VMware Certified Professional – Data Centre Virtualization
• CISSP or CISM Certification – Desirable
• ITIL

Experience and Knowledge:

• 7+ years of relevant IT experience as Senior Infrastructure Specialist or Engineer in a large enterprise.
• 3+ years of experience architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud infrastructure on Azure platforms
• 4+ years of experience in building and managing large & complex virtualization infrastructure (Hyper-V & VMware)
• Architecting & operating cloud native solutions built on Azure.
• Build and Manage NetApp enterprise Storage
• Experience in Disaster Recovery Practice using Sanovi, Veeam & Azure DevOps
• Experience in Develop, Documenting and Implementing Infrastructure standards and Operating Procedures.
• Experience in implementing CIS benchmark and system hardening.
• Hands on experience in Automation and Azure DevOps
