Cashier/Accountant

Job Responsibilities:

– Performing tasks as assigned by the line manager.

– Facilitate money transactions for clients by accepting debit, credit, cheques, or cash.

– Ring up sales, bag items, collect payments, honor coupons, request price checks, and give appropriate change.

– Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate, and proving a receipt to every customer.

– Processing refunds and exchanges, and resolving complaints.

– Petty cash handling as per SOP.

– Accurately perform daily reconciliations of cash, cheque, and credit card transactions.

– Basic VAT understanding.

Job Requirements:

– Minimum of 3 years of experience handling petty cash.

– Education: Graduate (Accounting).

– Customer service or cashier experience.

– Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly.

– High level of energy with strong customer service skills.

– Attention to detail.

– Helpful, courteous approach to resolving complaints.

– Software experience: SAP (Mandate).
