Job Description
Responsibilities:
Collaborates with manager to develop and implement territory POA and key account plans Evaluates progress versus plan monthly and agrees to course corrections with manager Contributes to Cluster/Territory Teams and proactively collaborates (Medical Affairs/Key Account Manager, etc.) to agree on key account plan objectives/responsibilities Engages with peers and District Manager and cross-functional teams to improve product knowledge Demonstrates an understanding of industry and healthcare trends, of how retail practices, clinics and hospitals operate Follows through on customer commitments and requests in a timely fashion Reports customer activity in the CRM system and ensures customer profiles are kept up-to-date Demonstrates an understanding of Amgen Performance 4 selling platform to satisfy customer and Amgen needs Operates within the agreed expense budget aligned with POA priorities Seeks advises and assistance to organize activities in a timely fashion and follow-up with customers Continuously develops and improves product knowledge, communication and selling skills through self-learning and active participation in agreed training programs. Authority:
The definition of Accounts and DMGs Development of Account plans and implementation once approved Implementation of expense budget Price policy implementation plan
Output:
Action plans per Priority Account (developed with Sales Reps and DM) Inclusion of products in Kuwait Hospital Formularies without restrictions and with price conditions that reflect the value High quality internal and external customer relationships Periodic activity reports in covered area (net sales analysis, Price evaluation, discounts evolution, calls.) developing solutions together to address customer needs and bring maximal value for all parties
Qualifications:
Bachelor`s degree Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in a sales-related job Experience in MOH, Endocrinology, Rheumatology, Orthopedics, and Biotechnology related field. Understanding of Kuwait healthcare system and patient flow especially MOH Experience with computer systems (CRM databases and MS Office) Strong written and verbal communication Fluency in local language, both in oral and written communication Kuwait relevant local legal qualification (Transferrable residency and valid driving licence) is a must
Preferred Requirements
Bachelor`s degree in life science or (bio) medical sciences, Pharmacy is preferred Knowledge of Customer Relation Management principles Exposure to interactions with various disciplines and organizational levels Exposure to project management principles Demonstrated resilience in complex environments Demonstrated high learning agility
