Responsibilities:
•Act as a company secretary and assist with drafting board minutes, supervising company books & co-ordination and regulatory filings
•Will focus on corporate M&A with a heavy emphasis on real estate work with a high level of cross-border transactions.
•Drafting and review of legal documents, including contracts, legal opinions, resolutions
•Drafting of contracts and commercial negotiations
•Assisting compliance officers for our clients with regards to the Dubai regulatory
•Ability to manage internal and external stakeholders through communication, including timely feedback
Qualifications:
•Degree from reputable law school and distinguished academic and professional experience
•Common law qualified lawyer
•Experience in working with a large international organization will be desirable
•Thorough knowledge of legal customs/practices for examining, organizing, processing legal documents
•Knowledge in corporate law specializing in business merger and acquisition
•Excellent command of spoken and written English
•Ability to communicate effectively and to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with persons contacted in the course of performing assigned duties including Company management and outside business associates
•Comfortable in advising and interacting with senior management/investment professionals on a regular basis
