Role Overview
This career opportunity is within the Energy Practice for Wipro’s D&C Consulting Organization. The role as a Regional Domain & Consulting Head will lead growth of the domain and consulting business in Strategic and new accounts in the region by leveraging both existing & emerging capabilities, in addition to creating new strategic growth areas to deliver profitable business for the accounts and consulting.

This role is expected to deliver growth across the following areas;
- Transformation themes for Assets, Upstream transformation, Capital Project, Energy transition, Products and customers, Supply chain, Sustainability and decarbonisation, and relevant X-Sector offerings.
- Consulting capabilities (CIO advisory, Digital transformation, Talent and Change, operational alignment etal…),
Regional D&C Head is expected to build C-level relationships, drive visible thought leadership for the sector to originate growth pathways, and leverage strategic partnerships (with analysts, advisory teams and Technology providers) as relevant for market development strategy.
The role is defined as owning the consulting business for the Middle East Energy Market, and acts as a key partner/enabler for delivering the business and growth strategy of the accounts, in partnership and collaboration with the Market Unit Managing Director, GAEs (Global Account Executive) and other business leaders in the region & global practices of Energy.
Regional D&C Head is goaled on growth (Domain and Consulting Revenues, Order Booking – Total Contract Value), Profitability (Operating margin) and consulting led origination of deals and thought leadership. This role will build, develop and manage Consulting Partners in the region who are assigned to accounts or cluster of accounts.
Responsibilities
Core responsibilities will include:
- Growth: Developing and delivering strong and differentiated business growth strategy in conjunction with the account and Practice teams; focus on growing the consulting business contribution to the accounts through strategic differentiated sales, and higher value offerings and capabilities. Ensures the consulting position to grow and to strengthen Wipro’s client positioning/brand.
- Solutions: Identifying & defining differentiated services and solutions for the account
- Competency: Defining & supporting a strong competency/capability development (including local content) to enable and accelerate client strategic goals by leveraging the Wipro ecosystem.
- Customer Centricity: Delivering customer value as a central theme across all activities. Ensuring Wipro is delivering as a partner and aligned to client/customer value and strategic goals.
- Branding: Building on the strong existing Wipro Brand, tasked with redefining Wipro as a strategic transformation and transition partner amongst key stakeholders within the client organization.

Qualifications/Experience Required
- Master Qualification (MBA Desired)
- Minimum 15 years industry experience (as a leader in Management consulting or Energy Industry/Digital consulting) with 5 years business development experience focused on strategic engagements and growth across the energy value chain.
- Proven track record of transformational and strategic consulting sales, and strong focus on governance, delivery, and operational management. With a proven record of delivering sustainable customer value.
- Strong domain knowledge and experience of developing and delivering strategic business and transformative initiatives with a significant focus on Digital.
- Relevant experience working as an SME for the Energy Industry within in a consulting delivering growth and transformation across the energy transition.
- Experience in consultative and outcome sales delivering differentiated value and opportunities for new business models.

- Proven track record in growing as well as sustaining and growing client account revenues through existing and new consulting engagements
