Venture Capital – Associate/ Senior Associate

Venture Search are working with an established Venture Capital team in Dubai, who are looking for an Associate/ Senior Associate to join their team.

The business covers pre-seed to series A, and late stage investments, both in the GCC and internationally.

As a smaller team, this will be a very dynamic role and cover all elements of the VC deal cycle.

Responsibilities

  • Generating/ screening deal flow – sourcing potential investment opportunities.
  • Being involved with some investment analysis.
  • Staying up to date with market trends and new technologies, to offer insights to the team on investment strategies
  • Performing due diligence
  • Preparing investment materials – collating information from target companies and industry leaders to support the preparation of IC materials
  • Portfolio Management – Working with and supporting founders
  • Assisting with portfolio company reporting
  • Lead the end-to-end management of deal closure (including presentation to the IC)

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of Venture Capital experience
  • A strong analytical knowledge
  • A curiosity for VC and technology
