ROLE OBJECTIVE

Provide efficient and pro-active support to the Head of Sales to develop the Maison in MEIA. Build automated reporting dashboard, monitor sales performance and optimize operations and stock allocations.

Head of Sales, MEIA

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Merchandising and Sales Administration (40%)

• Merchandising and stock allocations to boutiques and partners on a daily, weekly and monthly basis in the light of business key indicators: target assortment per door, sell-out/in ratio, sales targets.
• Accurately manage and dispatch orders, process orders and track shipment to ensure timely delivery to retailers.
• Monitor back orders with expected delivery dates to update retailers and boutique.
• Monitor stock transfers, good returns and consignments (carnet flow management for shoots and events).
• Optimize sales forecasting and planning.
• Deal with retailers and Boutique enquiries in a professional and efficient manner (prices, availability, deliveries, complaints etc.).
• Deal with After Sales Service enquiries from retailers (strap ordering and other CS related services)
• Develop and maintain strong business relationships with buyers and sales teams.

Business Analysis and Reporting (40%)

• Produce daily, weekly and monthly reports on the retail and wholesale business performance (sell-out declaration, turnover, stock, sell in/out performance per retailer, per collection, traffic etc.).
• Automatization of reporting tools sourced from SAP environment (Booster, EARTH).
• Prepare various reports on an ad-hoc basis (incl. annual Business plan and other reports when necessary).
• Market and competition intelligence, monitor and create updates on competition (pricing, products and network evolution).

Management (10%)

• Drive, manage and develop a team of 2 collaborators

SAP Key User and Business transformation (5%)

• Lead business transformation to SAP environment on operations, logistics and reporting and lead the test sessions before launching the tools.
• Ensure business processes are understood and well executed
• Implement business transformation projects such as automatic replenishment of point of sales, e-Commerce, new warranty cards, phone sales etc.

Office Coordination & Administration (5%)

• As required
• Global and regional event and exhibitions coordination and preparation

REQUIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE

• University/ Business School degree.
• 3 to 5 years of experience within an international company, preferably in the retail/luxury sector
• Fluent in English, French and/ or Arabic would be a plus.
• Acute attention to detail and strong data gathering and analytical skills.
• Computer literate (Good knowledge of SAP, strong proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Must be pro-active, enthusiastic, hard-working and committed.
