The Middle East and Africa (MEA) Driver Vertical is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven team member to own the driver growth across our region. If you love setting a vision, managing cross-functional partners, pushing projects forward to deliver strategically meaningful results, and solving problems from both 30,000 feet as well as deep in the details, this is the role for you.
As a Sr Operations Manager, Driver Growth, you will play a crucial role in expanding our driver base, driving driver acquisitions, and enhancing the overall driver experience and conversion rates. Your innovative strategies and data-driven approach will be key in identifying and implementing initiatives that attract, engage, and retain high-quality drivers, ultimately contributing to the growth and success of our platform.

What you will do:
- Develop and implement driver acquisition strategies for the MEA region to increase the number of qualified drivers on the Uber platform
- Analyze driver performance metrics and conversion rates to identify areas for improvement and optimize driver acquisition and onboarding experience
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, Compliance, Safety, Legal, and product teams to design and implement campaigns and initiatives aimed at enhancing driver engagement and satisfaction
- Develop/Maintain the best referral incentives’ structure while optimizing spend and enhancing the return on investment
- Implement strategies to limit driver churn and improve driver retention, ensuring a sustainable and stable driver base
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead of industry changes and recommend strategies to maintain a competitive edge
- Apply data analytics and reporting tools to track and measure the effectiveness of driver growth initiatives, providing concrete insights to optimize results
What you will need:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience preferably in management consulting, operations management, investment banking, and / or start-ups
- Possess functional expertise in driver growth, acquisition, or related areas, coupled with a strategic approach to drive impactful initiatives
- Customer obsession & go-get attitude
- Demonstrated strong execution excellence with a track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment
- Experience talking to customers, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to establish trust with internal/external partners
- Exceptional project management skills. You have a proven ability to lead initiatives at your organization across multiple teams
- A data-driven approach and the ability to translate data into concrete insights through sound business judgment
- Excellent organizational skills and a self-starter approach
- SQL knowledge is a plus but not required
