TikTok is committed to protecting the privacy of its users. Our Global Privacy Operations team plays an integral role in ensuring that TikTok is a safe and trustworthy place for our community. We are committed to high standards in addressing user requests and privacy queries while taking into account complex operational requirements for a global company.

We work daily to support users with privacy-related inquiries globally by accommodating their requests, guiding them to execute their privacy rights via in-app settings and controls, troubleshooting issues, and striving to provide them with an excellent user experience.

Core Responsibilities:

• Work on TikTok’s Global Privacy Operations handling privacy-related queries from our users based in the METAP region.
• Partner with TikTok’s Office of the Data Protection Officer and Legal Team to resolve user queries related to privacy.
• Effectively identify and resolve problems and issues related to user-escalated privacy concerns.
• Participate in and/or lead projects to improve processes, procedures, and tooling that will allow the team to scale rapidly and sustainably.
• Work cross-functionally across the organization to solve problems.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of data protection laws in the METAP region.
• Fluent in written and spoken Arabic plus business-level English.
• A data privacy background with at least 4 years of PQE experience in privacy support, a DPO role, a privacy consulting role, or similar operations setting.
• Customer support experience in a fast-paced and specialized environment with a keen eye for detail.
• Possess an ability to assess risk and impact from a privacy and data protection perspective.
• Great written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to enable the growth of an operation or process-heavy team.
• Able to work in a very fast-paced environment.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and policies at scale.
• Identify and communicate emerging risks to management and cross-functional partners.
• Experience in an online moderation or trust and safety environment.
• Privacy Certifications such as CIPP/E and CIPM.
