A world where ambitions fly high and our people are at the centre of what we do We have an exciting opportunity for talented UAE national graduates to join us in Dubai, United Arab Emirates as part of a three phased Operations Research and Effectiveness Graduate Programme (In-house consultant). The objective of this programme is to develop the skills of talented UAE national graduates and provide them with a strong foundation to pursue a career in Internal Consulting, one of the key functions within Emirates. Once you graduate from this programme, you will be a consulting and project management professional, gaining both technical and soft skills, to allow you to grow within the profession or move into a leadership role within the business. What will I do You will become an integral part of the Emirates Group ORE team supporting one of the world’s most dynamic and diverse aviation groups. You will deliver consulting and project management projects across the Group, using specialist technical consulting and project management skills to provide management with an independent assessment of continuous improvement and transformation initiatives. You will work closely with ORE Managers to scope, plan and execute projects, and discuss and communicate the deliverables to the appropriate level of management in the business.
Qualifications & Experience: Qualifications & Experience: Below are some of the skills & experience we are looking for: – Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) in quantitative fields such as, but not limited to, Industrial Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration with a CGPA of 3.4 and above – Excellent conceptual, numerical and analytical skills – Strong English communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) – Aptitude for continuous learning and independent work – Passion to interact with people from different cultures – Candidates should hold a valid UAE passport and Khulasat Al Qaid – Military services clearance status Since this is a graduate trainee programme, whilst some project experience is beneficial, no formal work experience will be required since experience will be gained through a 3 phased programme along with an extensive training programme. The duration of the programme is three years and is divided into three main phases: Phase 1 – 12 months This phase will involve an orientation and introduction to the Emirates Group and Operations Research and Effectiveness. You’ll develop an understanding of the consulting methodology and the lifecycle of a project. Once you’re familiar with the department, you’ll join one of the prestigious external training programmes (e.g. DBA Associates) and will gain practical experience on the consulting toolkit. Phase 2 – 12 months During this phase, you will be working on projects within the Emirates Group which would include exposure to UAE and international businesses. These projects will enable you to strengthen the consulting knowledge you gained from the training and be able to apply your skills and under the guidance of team leaders on the job. You will be expected to work as part of a team on small engagements with clear workstreams assigned to you. Phase 3 – 12 months During this phase, you will be assigned to projects across the different portfolios within the Group. You will be expected to work independently and deliver a project end-to-end.
