About TG…
Tarabut Gateway (TG) is the first and largest regulated Open Banking platform in the MENA, with offices in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the UAE. TG connects a regional network of banks and FinTechs via a universal application programming interface (API). By offering tools that allow the facilitation and distribution of personalized financial services, TG enables financial institutions to build a new world of financial services in MENA.
From our earliest days, we quickly became the region’s first applicant to a ‘regulatory sandbox’ through the Central Bank of Bahrain.
The clear objective is to build an infrastructure that accelerates an industry transformation. A multisided platform that connects banks, FinTechs, merchants, in the MENA region all on one platform, enabling a new realm of partnerships to be forged.
Fast forward to today, TG is in partnership with the largest banks in many countries. Our products are being built in Bahrain and will be ready to be shipped to other markets. At present we are focusing on scaling up our software engineering and product team to continue to better serve the lives of all 550 million people in the region.
This is the beginning of our journey, and as we see early stage FinTech start to emerge in other jurisdictions, there is no better time than now for the TG Platform to play its part in driving this new realm of financial services in MENA.
TG has already secured $25million investment in 2021 alone, including breaking records by securing the largest FinTech seed round in MENA history. Investors include (but not limited) Tiger Global, Target Global and Lumia capital.

What you’ll do…
The Marketing Team plays a key role in supporting our amibitious goals, where this role will lead developing our brand across social platforms as we scale. This role will enjoy covering all aspects of social media across a multinational remit in a B2B environment.
You’ll be responsible to define a best in class social media marketing strategy for each platform, plan, and be hands-on with execution. You’ll enjoy bringing best practice and high standards of digital marketing activity for our products. You’ll be commercially minded, creative, and collaborative with a focus on commercial traction and results. You’ll collaborate more broadly with the Commercial and Product Marketing teams to deeply understand our expansions, new product launches and latest developments.
This role will require complete ownership of TG social media platforms from persona design, ideation, content creation, monitoring, to community management. You’ll take the lead on monitoring engagement, analytics and craft new ways/content to boost traction and performance. You’ll conduct competitor and industry research and analysis to come up with insights and recommended actions that feed into our broader digital content strategy.

Requirements
- Handling our social media presence, ensuring high levels of web traffic and customer engagement.
- Overseeing all our social media accounts performance and user engagement (LinkedIn Twitter, Instagram, and Youtube ).
- Working with our Digital Marketing Manager to design and implement a social media strategy and principles to align with short and long term company goals.
- Creating the Social Media content end to end from internal and external resources covering creative, content management, media, community management, platforms and analytics.
- Managing intense content calendars, social copywriting, and content posting
- Ensuring content is optimized by identifying what drives most growth and engagement from target audiences
- Staying up-to-date with current technologies, trends in social media and audience preferences.
- Super user of digital marketing platforms and analytics tooling (e.g. Sprout Social, Bambu, Google ads/Analytics, HotJar, Facebook ads, LinkedIn, AdRoll, Optimizely) with a focus on measuring success
- Delivering across the full digital marketing mix (e.g. SEO, paid social, PPC, affiliates, display and analytics)
- Planning and managing time sensitive campaigns
- Conducting experiments where relevant
- Reporting on a weekly/monthly cadence as required
What We’re Looking For
- Track record of end to end ownership of social media including ideation, planning, creation to launch across a range of social initiatives from promotions, brand and product awareness, advertising, SEO to website traffic.
- Experience with platform determination, setting working principles, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
- Experience with social and community quality assurance programs
- Socially aware to discuss in depth target audiences and design target personas
- Experience with social analytics tools knowledge e.g. Sprout Social and Bambu
- Experienced with daily content and working to intense content calendars
- Demonstrates return of investment and measures success for their work
- Excellent copywriting/wordsmith skills in English and working/editing photo/video/text
- Background in content creation
- Sufficient knowledge of web design and SEO
- Confidently manages their own time and continuously raises the bar for content and audience attaction
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Degree in marketing, digital, social media, content, community management, or equivalent experience
- Passion for products or experience in FinTech, OpenBanking, Payments, Financial Services, SAAS company desirable.
