Our Business Technology Team is looking for a suitably qualified Infrastructure specialist to support the delivery of the BHS High Level Control Upgrade project. The consultant should be a IT Infrastructure Subject Matter Expert (SME) capable of fulfilling the role of IT Hardware Delivery Lead responsible for managing the Contractor to deliver the IT Infrastructure and Support Services Package. The Consultant will also act as an integration coordinator and manager alongside the Business Services packages for smooth on-time delivery of the project. The Consultant shall undertake full delivery of the Infrastructure and Support Services Package.

In general, these activities will include, but are not limited to the following:

a) The Consultant will report into the Business Technology – Senior Manager -Infrastructure Technology and will be responsible for driving the implementation and commissioning of IT Infrastructure Package associated to the BHS control upgrade Project.

b) The Consultant shall coordinate with respective DA BT SMEs (Data Center, Network, Database, Service Management) and ensures BT standards and guidelines are followed during the design and implementation. In case of any ambiguity, the Consultant shall inform Senior Manager – BT Infrastructure Technology

c) The Consultant shall liaise with Solution Architect and ensure design meets functional & technical requirements.

d) The Consultant shall liaise with Cyber Security and ensure design meets system compliance & required security controls.

e) The Consultant shall be responsible to review the BT infrastructure concepts, design, development and delivery documents and ensure the infrastructure development is aligned with the upgrade to the BHS HLC upgrade.

f) The Consultant shall closely work with the Strategy and Development DA-Design lead, BHS Design Lead and ES BHS SMEs to review, comment and approve contractor submissions during various phases of the project.

g) The Consultant shall be responsible for the full implementation of project procedures and processes to execute the infrastructure and support Services package on behalf of DA.

h) The Consultant shall be responsible for the day-to-day management of the project activities.

i) The Consultant shall work closely with the Project Manager and other project stake holders to review planning/ phasing and logistics of all the works.

j) The Consultant shall also review, comment and approve contractors submitted project documentation to ensure accuracy and alignment with contract documentation and DA reference documents.

k) The Consultant shall communicate with the project team and stakeholders by participating weekly progress meetings to report progress.

l) The Consultant shall coordinate all contractual handover and takeover requirements from contractor to DA as per DA reference documents.

m) The Consultant shall plan, coordinate and attend all Testing and Commissioning activities with the suppliers and provide approvals on acceptance of the system in line with the agreed SOW and approved design.

n) The Consultant shall allow for participation in and input into the operational trials of the system.

o) The Consultant shall chair a Lessons Learned Project Workshop on completion of delivery, acceptance and handover. Provide a formal Lessons Learned Report following workshop

Salary: AED20,000.00 – AED32,000.00 per month
