We are currently partnered with a leading commodities group headquartered in Dubai that is in the process of hiring a Tanker Shipping Manager with a tanker background to coordinate their shipping activity for the import and export of liquid commodities.
This person will take the lead in negotiating contractual terms for shipping requirements on the tanker side handling their Vegoil exports. You will also have to determine the type of charter party required and handle the price and logistics of fuel to meet time charter requirements. The preference is for someone that has a CPP/ Chems Chartering/ Broking background but in post this hire will also be able to learn the dry cargo chartering side of things.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong grasp of tanker charter partys that has 4/5 years exposure across broking or chartering. Preference would be for someone that has worked for a large import/ export business in a tanker shipping role but could also be suited to someone with a chartering/ operations profile gained within a shipowner/ operator/ broker.
