A well-known and regarded behavioral health organization in Dubai is hiring a Therapist for their Child and Adolescent Program. The Clinician is responsible for providing high-quality, compassionate care through various mediums that includes intakes, individual and group counseling, treatment assessment, treatment planning, and case management as needed.

Responsibilities:

Competently Assesses patients and family’s’ needs, abilities or behavior using a variety of methods, including psychometric tests, interviews and direct observation of their behavior

• Devises, monitors, and adapts appropriate treatment programme, including therapy, counselling, or advice, in collaboration with colleagues.
• Works as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside doctors, nurses, social workers, education professionals, health visitors, psychiatrists and occupational therapists.
• Offers therapy and treatments for issues relating to a range of mental health conditions
• Develops and evaluates service provision for patients
• Provides consultation to other professions, encouraging a psychological approach in their work
• Carries out applied research, adding to the evidence base of practice in a variety of healthcare settings.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Psychology, Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology, and PsyD (Doctor of Psychology) preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years experience as Clinical Psychologist
