KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working as part of the Leadership Team and reporting into President of MEA region you will build a strong and sustainable Technical Service Team in MEA to support business growth in all the existing and new markets.

• Responsible for the MEA Technical Service P&L, including revenues, margins and productivity within the team.
• Strengthen and develop MEA Service organization ensuring an independently running Technical Service, system support, project engineering, technology center and digital transformation.
• Establish strategies to re-organize Technical Service teams’ structure to support business growth in existing markets in MEA and new markets.
• Establish a platform to share technical experience among all MEA countries.
• Retain and train team to meet operational requirement in the region.
• Establish preventive and continuous improvement strategy of the Technical Service processes related to the responsibility area and reach business excellence involving functions like technical service, training, system specialists, system quality and spare parts supply.
• Actively participate in EMT (Executive Management Team) for associated business decision making within MEA region.
• Support other colleagues to strictly follow the EHS instruction and direction of the company, to ensure your own occupational health and safety, and also that of others who are affected by their actions or negligence.
• Develop, implement, and improve methodologies / concepts / tools to improve customer experience with SIG machines. This includes working with the global team and regionally to develop digital transformation innovations to improve SIG total cost of ownership, including overall equipment effectiveness and waste rates for SIG systems.
• Build SIG Excellence methodology to demonstrate SIG technical competency and improve customer experience (stretch beyond SIG scope to include processing, warehousing system, etc.).
• Work with regional and global business intelligence team to leverage and utilize our company big data, in relation to machine performance aiming to reach real predictability.

YOU BRING THESE SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

• Bachelor or master’s in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent graduate degree.
• Additional certification/ degree in digital transformation/ business intelligence would be a plus.
• You have senior leadership experience in a similar role
• You are a structured thinker and will have a clear way of operating, including excellent communication with your stakeholders.
• You are willing to travel nationally and internationally.
• You have excellent English communication skills (written & spoken). Knowledge of French language would be an advantage.
• You can connect and communicate with people from different cultural backgrounds.
