The purpose of this position is to lead Health, Safety and Environmental across Serco contracts at Dubai Airports. The HSE Manager will provide professional specialist advice and support to Contract Managers, employees and Dubai Airports working closely with all stakeholders to drive a positive safety culture across our Dubai Airports portfolio .
Key accountabilities Manage and execute a training programme for all employees on Dubai Airports and Serco HSE Management System and all associated procedures. Coordinate an ongoing safety improvement programme to reduce the risks to health and safety and monitor implementation of control measures and arrangements identified as necessary. Develop, maintain, and monitor a safety leadership tour program for the organisation working closely with Dubai Airports Management Team. Manage and maintain a Legal register for compliance with health, safety and environmental legislation. Coordinate systems to ensure effective consultation and communication on health and safety policies, processes, and improvement programmes. Develop and deliver HSE Audit Programme yearly
What we are looking for in our candidates: Thorough understanding of local health and safety requirements Thorough understanding of airport engineering operations and facilities management services. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; Ability to develop and deliver training materials, audit reports and client reports Strong report writing and presentation skills; Hold a valid Airside driving license with good driving skill and experience
Specific requirements
Demonstrable experience working as a HSE Manager in FM industry.
Airport operations experience and be knowledgeable on Airside Safety Regulations Working with Serco. Holder of NEBOSH Diploma
A degree in Engineering
Middle East experience as preference
