Your Opportunity

We are looking for a FRS Associate Instructor to enable delegates to learn fire fighting and fire fighter leadership techniques through presentations, demonstration and instruction. The post holder will be required to assess the performance of candidates using a range of methods.

The ideal candidate should have the technical understanding of fire and rescue techniques and a fluent Arabic Speaker.

This role is part of the FRS Training Team and will be based in our corporate office in Dubai.

Key Accountabilities

• Deliver FRS training programmes in accordance with QMS procedures and regulatory standards.
• Assess students’ performance against recognised standards using a range of methods in accordance with QMS procedures.
• Assist with development of course content in line with regulatory standards and best practice.
• Take a participatory role in development opportunities in all areas of the business.
• Represent Serco Middle East IFTC at industry conferences, meetings and marketing events as required by the line manager
• Report shortfalls and non-conformities to line manager promptly and in the recognised format
• Maintain health and fitness levels in order to undertake the role (in accordance with recognized guidelines)

Specific Requirements

• Fire and Rescue Service Experience ideally in Station Manager / Watch Manager rank.
• Fluent Arabic Speaker
• Recognized International Training Qualification
• Must be approved or able to gain approval from IFTC to assessed in the delivery of the accredited training.
• Fire Service Training Experience
