End User Services Engineer – Dubai

The Role

We are seeking a highly talented and skilled engineer to join our team as an End User Services Engineer in Dubai. You will have the responsibility to not only provide technical support to users, but also helping with various local and global projects/rollouts.

What you’ll do

The End User Services Engineer will serve as a key technical point of contact for our Dubai office and other local regions, supporting users in person and virtually. You will work with our global team, delivering best in class support and ensuring the seamless handover of support cases. The ideal candidate will showcase both project management and technical skills with excellent customer service skills.

What you’ll bring

What you need:

• More than 5 years’ experience working in a support role
• Experience working in an agile, global support team
• Experience with managing helpdesk ticket queue, incident escalations, and on call support rotations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
• Positive mindset and ability to work collaboratively with teams across the business
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with office buildouts / refurbishments
• Expertise with Windows 10
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and Windows Administration
• Experience with scripting (PowerShell) and Group Policy Management
• Exposure to Citrix XenDesktop/XenApp
• Exposure to Microsoft Azure VDI
• Exposure to Intune and JAMF Device Management
• Strong ownership experience with a track record of delivering results
• Experience with TCP/IP networking and routing protocols
• Strong ownership experience with a track record of delivering results

We’d love if you had:

• Arabic language skills
• Trading floor support experience
