Repton Dubai is seeking to appoint a Senior School Head of Art to start August 2023.

The art department is an exciting and dynamic environment with creative endeavours which are continually evolving. At the core is our young people’s growth and love of art-making. We strive to provide students with a safe place to explore their creative identity and develop as mature artists. Art students at Repton can explore various media, such as drawing, painting, three-dimensional relief and sculpture work, ceramics, installation, performance, film and sound, photography, textiles and mixed-media experiments. Furthermore, students enjoy two brightly lit art rooms, a ceramic room and kiln and smaller studio spaces where IB students can work independently. The Art students, yearly, achieve outstanding results in both IGCSE and IB. Behind the Art department’s successes are a team of skilled and professional teachers who thrive on exploring creativity, finding opportunities for students’ development and celebrating student achievements. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the Art department’s continuation and growth as well as the Faculty of Arts that also includes Performance Arts and Music.

Successful candidates will:

• Hold a Bachelors degree in the subject directly relevant to teaching specialism plus PGCE
• Ideally 2 years post qualification experience
• Have experience teaching in a UK setting or renowned British Curriculum / IB international school
• Be at least 24 years old
