JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities and Duties
- Responsible for designing of 2D & 3D layout, photo editing, 3D video creation, shadow analysis of ‘Solar Photovoltaic (PV) systems’ for residential, commercial or industrial projects.
- Assist in preparing As Built drawings.
- Create plan for solar energy system development, monitoring, and evaluation activities.
- Managing design projects from concept development through to completion.
- Developing and presenting project proposals.
- Prepare proposals, tenders, and pitches to clients to secure a construction design contract
- Prepare and present design 3d and walkthrough video for the client presentation.
- Provide technical direction or support to installation teams during installation, start-up. Provide technical guidance to other personnel.
- Creating models of engineering design or methods.
- Creating family using Revit Software.
- Adapting plans according to circumstances and resolving any problems that may arise during construction
- Ensure design specifications align to safety standards and governmental regulations
- Perform site-specific engineering and evaluation of solar energy efficiency, analyse performance, and cost through production modelling and turn them into fully detailed construction ready designs meeting consultants/clients’ requirement and specification.
- To assist design engineers (Civil, Structural and Electrical) in preparing design submission drawings and authority submission drawings including DEWA design submission, DM/DDA/Tracheas building permit submission drawings and any other authorities (RTA, ETISALAT) design submission drawings
