Residential Interior Designer
Our client is a well-established luxury interior fit out and landscaping turnkey contractor.
We are recruiting a UAE experienced residential interior designer from the luxury residential interior fit out and landscaping sector to join their Dubai operations.
The role will be responsible for the conceptual design for space planning, room layout, furniture, furnishings, lighting, plumbing, fittings, flooring, wall covering and colour for luxury villas and apartments.
Role Summary
Render conceptual design ideas and prepare 2D and 3D presentation/design drawings and mood boards.
Coordinate color and material palettes used in residential interiors.
Create a timeline for the interior design project and estimate project costs to fit within the client’s budget.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
5+ years’ experience in luxury residential interior conceptual design and rendering.
Advanced knowledge of furniture, fixture and equipment (FF&E), architectural/interior finishes, lighting, signage, art, and color schemes to carryout design intent.
Knowledge of UAE / Dubai Municipality building regulations and safety codes.
Thorough knowledge of sustainability, integrated design and LEED guidelines.
Proficiency in AutoCAD/Architectural Desktop, Revit, InDesign, SketchUp, V Ray, Lumion.
Proficiency in 3D Modeling software such as 3D Studio Max and Viz 2006.
Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketchup, and InDesign graphic software.
UAE driving license.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture
Candidate Profile
Currently living in the United Arab Emirates
Fluent in English.
Professional appearance and work ethic with excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
