Main Purpose

Guarantee high quality data base for Long Term Strategic Supply Chain projects input and output, translating and handling a large amount of business elements into modeling language, and vice-versa with the modeling results outputs.

The data control role involves the stages of gathering, deeply analyzing & cleansing, aligning and validating data source within interfaces, and preparing accurate data source for modeling projects.

Accountabilities

• Maintain the Cloud based Data architecture to store the SC Optimization team’s data requirements for the different models
• Responsible for maintaining the data link/transfer between the Pepsico data base and the Coupa DDM ensuring data availability for the models on Lama.ai
• Deliver continuous improvement in ways to find optimal way of organizing and extracting the data, allowing acceleration in optimization modelling projects and supporting the Sector/Regional productivity agenda.
• Use Analytics programs/statistical methods to take data through a first round of analysis/cleaning and/or complete missing data to provide actionable insights to the data owners that can feed into key business performance metrics (cost, capacity,…)
• Close Collaboration with data analysts and modelling team to build data solutions that work for all.
• Collaborates with analytics and business teams to improve data models that feed business intelligence tools, increasing data accessibility and fostering data-driven decision making across the organization.
• Performs data analysis required to troubleshoot data related issues and assist in the resolution of data issues and documents work.
• Collaborate in Network projects on identification of required data that needs to be modelled, and building the right data solutions to deliver repeatable models

Qualifications/Requirements

Key Skills/Experience Required

• Degree preferred in Business, Operations Research or similar
• Advanced database skills in SQL Server, Data Guru, and Access/Excel.
• Experience in architecting, designing, building, and maintaining data distributed and processing systems.
• Experience in creating reliable data pipelines and architecting data stores
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Process oriented with great documentation skills
• Advanced level of English, other languages as nice to have

Differentiating Competencies Required

• Supply Chain or Logistics experience (as a plus, not a must)
• Experience and skill with Visualization and Analytics software especially Tableau
• Demonstrated examples of creatively utilizing analytical/mathematical skills with results
• Advance oral and written communication skills with a keen sense of customer service
• Modelling and cost analysis experience (Llamasoft) (as plus, not a must)
