As an Enterprise Architect, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the enterprise architecture strategy for our online payments platform.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, technical teams, and business leaders to identify and prioritise business goals, provide technical guidance and ensure alignment with industry best practices and standards.

The successful candidate will be a thought leader with a deep understanding of the online payments landscape and will drive innovation to meet the changing needs of our customers.

The Enterprise Architect will report to the CTO and be responsible for understanding the larger ecosystem and take the lead on architectural design including business, integration, data, application, and security infrastructure.

You will need a strong background in Architecture, Software Development, Advisory, Consulting and Stakeholder Management, with the ability to bring in new wins and increase the number of our Global Solutions offerings.

As our Enterprise Architect, you will have these main objectives:

• Lead technical design sessions with the Development teams, including the creation of sequence diagrams, component models, and detailed design specifications to ensuring that architecture standards are followed
• Collaborate with Product Development teams to provide a high-level vision of enterprise solutions and development initiatives
• Manage the defining technical evaluation criteria for product and technology selection and determining technical approaches to ensure all architectural solutions result in Systems Design
• Find the right balance between innovation, technical feasibility and long-term sustainability
• Review third-party and integration solution architecture based on established enterprise application strategy
• Create and lead the process of integrating Internal systems/applications and ensure they meet the organisation’s requirements
• Determine and implement build-versus-buy strategies, and provide inputs to CTO
• Create and present proof-of-concepts whenever required
• Evaluate the internal applications/tools, development strategies, engineering processes and suggest improvements
• Create business architecture models to reflect the organisation’s strategies and goals and assist in creating and implementing business visions and goals
• Carry out technical audits and design reviews
• Evaluate new technologies, monitor hardware and software trends

• Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field, with 12-15 years of experience in enterprise architecture, with a focus on online payments
• Possess deep knowledge of online payments systems, including payment gateways, fraud prevention, and compliance requirements
• Can act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to link technology with business value
• Have a hands-on Applications Development background including a good understanding of Enterprise systems, Digital Technology (including Cloud), Mobility, Data Analytics, User Interfaces, Microservices, and Decentralized Systems
• Prior experience with multiple architecture domains, including application, data, integration, and security. You must be experienced in REST APIs and their structure, also in using one or more of the leading Enterprise Architecture tools
• Have a strong understanding and practical experience with the Cloud ecosystem
• Are experienced with implementing Business and Information Systems Architecture
• Other desirable qualifications include:

TOGAF-certification, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Dell EMC Proven, Trained and Certified Professional Cloud Architect

• Can guide stakeholders through the right technology choices suitable to the core business needs
• Are experienced and understand Agile delivery, with the ability to manage and lead teams of experts and share solution architecture methodologies
• Have the leadership skills to work comfortably with senior colleagues, up to and including C-level management globally
