Job Description:

Mechanical Engineer (Utilities Infrastructure construction)

Are you a Mechanical Engineer who thrives on retrofitting or upgrading existing systems to create energy efficiencies? Do you enjoy working on multiple projects or capital improvement programs?

Responsibilities :

• Solid experience in coordination between MEP electrical activities and civil activities, review of material submittals, and procurement of Mechanical equipment.

• Site monitoring and inspection for MEP system.

• Managing handover & testing and commissioning procedures to maintenance and operations team. Coordinating between engineering design team & contractors by clarifying all contractor’s inquiries. Concept Preparation, Load Estimation, System Selection, Duct and Piping Design.

• Shop Drawing (Design Review, Selection of Equipment and All Preparation).

• Working in diverse projects ranging from high rise buildings, hospitals, office buildings, educational institutions, and infrastructure projects.

• Eminently competent in supervising Mechanical Engineering functions leading to ensure execution of works as per the requirement, contract, specifications and conforming to safety, quality, cost, time parameters.

• Adapt at managing Design Engineering operations involving design & development, developing detailed drawings, coordinating with internal departments.

• Ability to utilize a variety of designs, software and integrated material engineering techniques.

• Responsible for managing all the MEP components of projects done by the MEP sub-contractors at site. Reviewing of full related construction detail and shop drawing.

• Combining technical skills with management skills.

• Supervising all the MEP sub-contractors on site to ensure their adherence with the project’s specifications. Coordinating the project members and working as a liaison between different parties.

• Ensuring proper safety procedures have been established at site.

• Well versed in end-to-end project ownership and executing projects right from inception till implementation and support and ensuring deliverables within assigned time, quality & cost parameters.

• Provided all the technical and field support for the Contractors.

• Reviewing logistics on site and advising measures to ensure competent site flow.

• Reviewing Site progress report as per site condition.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field) and 10+ years of related work experience

Professional Registration preferred

Proficiency in utilizing CAD, Micro Station and HAP hourly analysis program
