As a Clinical Informaticist I, you will provide informatics guidance and act as a liaison between the clinical department and IT, leveraging both clinical knowledge and informatics knowledge to provide innovative solutions. You will participate and provide clinical input during the application system review, design, development, test, and enhancement of information systems. Your responsibilities will include focusing on clinical utilization and workflow, including patient safety and clinical outcomes as well as research, analysis and making recommendations for application workflow improvements. You will be responsible for establishing trusted relationships with department leaders inside the client organization, collaborating across teams to plan, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of systems and services, as well as ensuring appropriate communication and documentation are completed to support high-quality clinical workflow and application development. Finally, you will assess and analyze the client’s end-user learning needs to develop and maintain curriculum and tools.

Responsible for driving the client through the design of clinical and business processes, solution and technology workflow, and successful adoption that will lead to achieved value. Manage ongoing relationships with clients, providing account management and clinical subject matter expertise focusing on client success in utilizing Oracle’s solutions. Through the use of Oracle’s implementation approach and methodology, the Consultant will assist in change management, help identify opportunities for improvement, and is accountable for achieving the project’s targeted outcomes.

Bachelors or Advanced degree in a discipline relevant to area of focus, plus 1 year related work experience. Minimum Qualifications: At least 4 years of total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including: At least 1 year of licensed health care practice, clinical consulting and/or other clinical healthcare information technology (HCIT) work experience. Degree in respective clinical expertise (Nursing, Pharmacy, Clinical Studies, Informatics/Statistics, Health Care or related field). Certification required based on area of focus: Registered Nurse – State Board, Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) – Pharmacy Technician. Certification Board or Certified Revenue Cycle Professional (CRCP) – American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management. Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position. Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations. Depending on the job there may be additional minimum requirements and/or preferred qualifications
