NES Fircroft’s Operator client are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join the team.
This individual must deliver professional procurement of equipment, materials and services, acting as the focal point for all packages assigned to them. The successful candidate must coordinate with PSCM and wider business personnel to ensure the procurement is carried out professionally to meet Project schedules. Further details below:
Role: Procurement Specialist
Location: Dubai
Duration: 12 months renewable
Reports: No direct reports
Key Accountabilities:
– Implementation of standard tools, systems and processes.
– Accountability in liaising with business stakeholders for allocated packages, materials, equipment and services.
– Development of relationships with key Suppliers, and facilitating expansion of supply chain to include new participants
– Adherence to all guidelines and procedures to safeguard cost recovery.
-Coordinating and expediting completion of technical evaluations and completing commercial evaluations including closure.
– Development of strategy and bid lists, RFPs, bid evaluation plans and recommendation for award.
– Consistent, reliable and efficient performance of end-to-end procurement process leading to successful placement of purchase order (po) contract (cn) or call off (or).
– They will be responsible for generating and managing RFPs based on the Material Requisition (MR) or scope of work provided, achieving all necessary approvals and achieving placement of award.
– Comply with all internal and external regulatory requirements (e.g. ACDD,) resolves material discrepancies with customers and suppliers, provides support to expediting team to ensure on time delivery, and assists with the resolution of invoices.
