Department Overview

The Pre-Sales Project Coordinator role is a front line position that partners closely with the Motorola Solutions key account Managers as well as our customers. You will be responsible to deliver customer-driven, world-class, leading-edge, end-to-end solutions that rise to the challenges that our customers face.

The Pre-Sales Project Coordinator is the overall owner of the solutions’ technical design, incorporating products and services from both Motorola and third party companies.

The team concentrates on the following mission-critical communications technologies at various levels of complexity:

• Public safety grade mobile voice and data networks
• Advanced mobile devices
• Public safety mobile broadband networks and devices (LTE)
• Integrated command and control: Dispatch Consoles, Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD)
• Intelligence-Led Public Safety: Real time video and data analytics

Job Description

• Managing and maintaining diaries and appointments including arranging meetings and if necessary attend meetings to record the minutes.
• Raising sales & purchase orders in accordance with Finance and Procurement procedures.
• Updating progress sheets and other management information.
• Assisting with staff scheduling, including leave and timesheets.
• Responsible for ensuring that the company databases are continually updated to reflect the current status of any pre sales activity and asset data.
• Printing and filing drawings received from Vendors.
• Assisting with ensuring that regional project closures are completed in a timely and effective manner.
• Assist in monitor progress of any open commitments on pre sales activities.
• Assist in dealing with daily queries as to costs incurred on pre sales activities.

Basic Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Project Coordinator or Administrator, ideally in Telecoms industry
• Highly competent in the use of MS Office especially Excel (data sorting, formulas, pivots, graphs), Microsoft Power Point and ideally VBA.
• Able to work comfortably and confidently within database environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Effective time management, good organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
• Consistently deliver to deadlines, commitments and regularly add value by taking a pro-active approach, demonstrating energy to own and manage workload.
• Recognize where flexibility is needed and demonstrate ability to step outside role where required.
