Position Overview:
At MiX Telematics, we know that the key to growth is in a high-performing sales team. That’s why we’re seeking a qualified Channel Sales Manager who will be responsible for winning , maintaining , and expanding relationships with assigned channel partners based on geography, channel, or market.
The Channel Sales Manager is responsible for achieving sales, profitability, and partner recruitment objectives.
The Channel Sales Manager represents the entire range of company products and services to assigned partners though may focus on a specific solution or product set if focused in a partner vertical market.
Job Responsibilities:
- Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts
- Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet partner performance objectives and partners’ expectations.
- Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned partner accounts.
- Proactively leads a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship.
- Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates partner needs on an ongoing basis.
- Sells through partner organizations to end users in coordination with partner sales resources.
- Manages potential channel conflict with other sales channels by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement.
- Leads solution development efforts that best address end- user needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company and partner personnel.
- Ensures partner compliance with partner agreements.
- Drives adoption of company programs among assigned partners
- Proactively recruits new qualified partners
Key Skills and Attributes:
- University Degree with Technology, Business or Marketing Major
- Minimum 5 years channel management in a Technology/SaaS environment
- Self-starter with a proven record of success in a sales environment ideally in Technology/SaaS
- Results orientated, resourceful, enthusiastic and diligent
- Comfortability in a dynamic, customer facing environment
- Motivation to be in a goal-oriented, quota-carrying role
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong listening, verbal and written communication skills
- Possess sound commercial judgement
- Understanding of the advantages of the utilisation of business systems
- Customer focussed with the ability to make clear decisions
- Ability to analyse and think at a strategic level
- Great time management skills
- Understanding and previous experience in a SaaS business
Languages:
- Excellent command of English Language, Native Arabic is a must
Tech. Knowledge:
- High level of PC literacy with in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
- Strong knowledge of CRM applications
- Expert in using Online Conferencing Tools
Travel:
- Willing to travel 50% of the time
