Investment Associate

Role Description

The Investment Associate position will allow you to advance your career in an environment where you can play a critical role in setting up the building blocks of a fast-growing Fintech Investment company. You will have the opportunity to work with a high-performing team and direct exposure to the company’s founders, CIO and top fund managers from private equity, Venture Capital, Hedge Funds, Credit and Real Estate around the world. The associate supports the evaluation of these fund managers and the role requires creative & critical thinkers who can take on the challenge of building and managing an optimal investment portfolio across the liquidity spectrum.

The candidate should be interested in researching and presenting their findings, thereby being adept in identifying investment opportunities. They should be committed to providing detail-oriented, high-caliber research and showcase a proactive attitude to learn.

Your Responsibilities

Reach out and build relationships with new fund managers, analysing their investment approach and performing complete investment and operational due diligence Research the historical performance of multiple existing fund managers across asset classes and deliver quantitative analyses using our databases

• Creating and maintaining financial models to monitor existing portfolios and investments
• Supporting proprietary research on asset classes and capital markets
• Manage performance templates and forecasting models

Understanding of portfolio construction based on return & volatility profiles, correlations, liquidity horizons Develop a standard reporting package for the Investment Committee to include assets, flows and performance by portfolio, strategy and asset class

Requirements:

3-5 years work experience working in a Family office, Private Equity, Venture Capital or Asset Management company Bachelor’s degree with strong academic credentials, preferably in Mathematics, Statistics, Quantitative Finance, or Economics. Masters is a plus. Willingness to be based in Dubai
