This role will:

• Design Hospital with Lean Management principle & infrastructure in compliance with accreditation standards, assure compliance with regulatory standards, NABH, NABL, ISO, JCI etc.
• Evaluate, procure and optimally utilize right medical equipment technology.
• Commission high end medical equipment’s in multi – specialty Hospital.
• Manage procurement management in terms of Planning, Preparation of Specifications, Tendering, Negotiation, Calculating the Life-cycle cost of equipment’s etc.
• Oversees the management of comprehensive services and medical equipment for budgeting, planning, specification, tracking, installation, quality improvement, inspection and servicing of medical and support systems necessary to meet requirements of multiple healthcare facilities.
• Prepare MIS reports and attend monthly meetings with management and staff.
• Preparate project plan including procurement timeline, planning as per medical equipment installation.
• Manage vendor service quality assurance program. • Effectively utilize software technology to manage workflow. • Evaluate Asset Life Cycle Management programs and initiates capital prioritization and planning on an ongoing basis.
• Set training and educational opportunities.
• Coordinate with internal departments including IT, Safety, Facilities Management, Compliance, Legal, Contracts, Purchasing, etc.
• Develop and manage the regulatory compliance programs and preventative maintenance program.
• Recommends best practices and responds to emergencies to ensure patient safety.
• Develops, implement and maintain a HSE & Safety Management program.

Desired skills & experience

• Master’s Degree/Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical, Medical Electronics and MBA (preferred).
• Minimum of 20 years’ experience in Managing BME operations in tertiary care facility.
• Expertise in managing multi-location, large and diverse team.
• Knowledge of recent trends and development in healthcare industry and technology field.
• Experience of implementing change in a complex environment, working with a wide range of stakeholders
• Must be able to work under minimum supervision, independently, dynamic & fast-paced environment and meet critical deadlines.
• Project management skills
• Experience in developing KPI dashboards and monitoring/reporting.
• Resourceful with positive attitude and able to motivate team work.
• Knowledge of ERP system
• Possesses an in-depth knowledge of medical equipment life cycle costs.
