Due to continuing growth and development of Merlin’s attractions and brands on a global scale, we are looking for a Trade Sales Manager to join our Marketing team at Madame Tussauds Dubai. This is a unique role reporting into the General Manager working very closely with Marketing Manager. You will be responsible for driving trade sales revenue, volume and yield to budget by developing direct sales growth through a portfolio of specific trade accounts. You will develop innovative routes to market through existing clients to support sales growth and development of account status. You will also monitor and evaluate weekly, monthly and annual trade sales reflecting on particular wins and challenges and forecasting potential changes; as well as negotiating marketing activation directly with accounts to agreed campaigns.
About You
We are looking for the following skills and experience…
- Educated to Degree or equivalent level coupled with sales account management experience ideally within the leisure / tourism sector.
- Proven ability to manage and develop sales growth to an agreed budget.
- Good commercial acumen and the ability to report with accuracy in business English.
- Proficient use of Excel to create and update reports.
- Strong interpersonal skills and being able to adapt style to different environments.
- A capable negotiator, communicator and influencer.
- Passionate and driven individual, who can demonstrate their enthusiasm for sales and people leadership.
- A proactive and creative approach to problem solving supported by solid data.
- Flexibility in adapting to fast-changing priorities and fast paced work environment.
- Strong organisation skills, with the ability to multi-task and hit the ground running within a hands-on role.
- You thrive on ownership and accountability and have a passion for personal growth and development.
