This Opportunity

Serves as the FARP Fuel Manager for personnel, fuel systems, and equipment necessary to perform fuel systems operations.

Your Impact

Although specific duties vary by assignment or contract, typical duties include:

• Responsible for the administration and supervision of all personnel, fuel systems, and equipment, as well as the receipt, storage, issue, quality control and accounting of bulk petroleum products IAW with all appicalble requirements.
• Reviews and evaluates short and long-term FARP mission requirements regarding the operational readiness include refueling equipment.
• Assures facility and equipment sufficiency and informs the Director of Fuel on accomplishment of the assigned day-to-day or contingency mission.
• Plans, coordinates, forecasts, and schedules the distribution of bulk fuel products to ensure peacetime and contingency levels are maintained.
• Reviews and verifies all petroleum documents receivied during all incoming shipments of fuels.
• Reviews and evaluates statistical operational data for favorable or unfavorable trends in the logistical management of fuels. Reviews and approves/disapproves all inventory adjustment actions.
• Develops and implements local policies and emergency fuel support plans and procedures not covered in ATP 4.43 Petroleum Supply Operations and other governmental directives.
• Reviews and evaluates the Fuels Management Quality Control Program for the product, quality, operational effectiveness, corrective action, and the detection of unfavorable trends.
• Maintains adequate operating stocks.
• Responsible for the control and supervision of Fuel Distribution System Operators.
• Responsible for promoting, reassigning, and evaluating subordinate supervisors and employees. Exercises continuing responsibility for safety conditions, procedures and work practices employed within assigned area of responsibility.
• Instructs subordinates in safety matters; ensures that safe work practices are followed, and regular inspections are performed.
• Takes decisive action to eliminate unsafe conditions.
• Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Must have computer skills and be able to operate a variety of computer programs.
• Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently
• Must maintain a valid passport from their home country with validity for 12 months from on-site employment date
• Must satisfy and maintain CENTCOM MOD-16 medical requirements to include COVID-19 vaccinations
• Must be able to gain and maintain authorized entry onto US military installations.

Additional Required Qualifications

• Must be able to work outside in extreme environmental conditions with ambient temperatures of 130 degrees, high winds, and sandstorms. Must be able to work in cold and wet conditions as well
• Office environment may require sitting and standing for extended periods of time
• The Fuels Sections areas have potential for exposure to Environmental (Snakes, Scorpions) and Chemical Hazards
• Other exposures are transporting fuel inside congested or confined areas at the work Locations.
• Professional Apprearrrnace, consistent with local customs and corporate policies
• Must be able to work overtime, evenings, or adjusted shifts to complete mission requirements
• May be required to work an irregular schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must comply with all Military, OSHA, EPA, Fire Regulations and published company Policies and Standards.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in supply chain management, business administration, or similar from an accredited school with minimum three(3) years’ experience in the supply and/or logistics and two(2) years managing supply and/or logistic operations.
• One or more of the following certifications is preferred: Supply Systems Technician Senior Warrant Officer Technical Course, Senior Non-Commissioned Officer Course Technical Certification Course, Quartermaster/Transportation/Ordnance Advanced Course, Command and General Staff College, Sergeant Major’s Academy or Civilian equivalent (e.g., Certified Logistics Engineer or Certified Logistics Planner (CLP)).
• A valid driver license Moreover, the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Motor Vehicle Operator’s License and local Driver’s License if required.
