Kuehne+Nagel Hiring for National Procurement Manager Job at Dubai Full Time

We are looking for results and service oriented Procurement Manager to join our Dubai team. You should have a proven extensive experience in Procurement and ESG topics and excellent communication skills in spoken and written English.

Your Role

Your primary objective will be to pro-actively manage procurement activities as supplier sourcing, bidding, negotiation processes, vendor management and database maintenance. You will do this by working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders while focusing on the following key objectives.

Your Responsibilities

• Ensure that administrative support is standardized and delivered at optimal levels in accordance with agreed policies and regulations.
• Communicate locally with property management offices, office facility management, mail room, courier services and oversee the deployment and management of company cars, drivers, etc.
• Review supplier solutions on an ongoing basis, initiate benchmarking and tender exercises as appropriate, lead supplier review meetings on a regular basis and maintain good relationships with all key suppliers.
• Set clear standards for the delivery of administrative processes and ensure the processes are well implemented and communicated with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Provide local support on administration and procurement related activities including but not limited to local renovations of existing or new locations, office supplies and event management while being responsible for cost saving of company administration expenses.
• Oversee office administration duties including car arrangement, hotel/air ticket reservation, stationary ordering and office maintenance.
• Provide input of business needs and market knowledge (supply market structure and dynamics, strategies of suppliers and pricing structure, opportunities and threats) to regional Procurement Team
• Support HR, QSHE and Finance to ensure that all external regulations and internal processes are complied with at all times.
• Develop standardized reporting tools, templates & dashboards to enhance transparency.
• Support the integration of environmental, social and governance practices through procurement

Your Skills and Experiences

• Proven extensive experience in Procurement and ESG topics is a must have.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Logistics or other related disciplines.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in finance and supply chain.
• Structured work approach and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication/presentation skills.
• Experience in working with a multi-cultural team.
• Process- and business-driven approach with solid financial systems and IT skills.
• Entrepreneurial thinking and acting (Cost sensitive, value focused, showing strong ownership attitude).
• Highly self-motivated with excellent analytical, evaluative and problem-solving abilities.
