We are looking for an Expert in Supply Chain Design. If you enjoy using your knowledge in SC and data analytics and working with several internal and external stakeholders, this opportunity is for you.

YOUR ROLE

In this role, you are a consultant who aims to maximize our key account customer engagement across all verticals. You will collaborate with the Key Account Managers on all levels (National, Regional, and Global) to deliver compelling value propositions and business cases to support our customers in improving their supply chain performance and position Kuehne+Nagel services and/or solutions.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Proactive qualification, pipeline maintenance, and project management of SCD opportunities in conjunction with other internal stakeholders.
• Manage key research deliverables, including but not limited to: existing case studies, customer industry-specific best practices, ongoing internal business (operation) analysis, preliminary evaluation of research studies, white papers, presentations and webinars, guidebooks, templates, roundtable discussions, or research on existing and new Kuehne+Nagel customers as part of internal preparation to position SCD.
• Lead the End-to-end analysis of client’s SC, design and position solutions, and optimize supply chain performance and costs using DMAIC and statistical techniques. Delivering a compelling business case in terms of cost vs (ROI) return, risk and implementation timeframe, formalizing the client’s strategic positioning, business model, operational model, AS-IS and TO-BE scenarios, and enablers.
• Creating a Kuehne+Nagel value proposition, managing and engaging with virtual, international teams with different disciplines.
• Discuss the value proposition with the client, in conjunction with Commercial Owner and Business Unit, until the final customer decision is received.
• Being actively involved in RFQ processes to provide strategic solutions elements and innovative proposals, transitioning solutions projects to the appointed Kuehne+Nagel implementation lead, and ensuring the client value is delivered.
• Proactively coaching the Key Account Team to consultative and longer-term approach and liaising with Industry Champions for creating and/or formalizing industry-specific solution packages.
• Using and continuously improving the tools, techniques, and methodology of Supply Chain Design. Creating and maintaining business cases.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

• Degree in Supply Chain Management or similar studies
• Experience in Supply Chain Design and Supply Chain Transformation projects
• Process mapping and re-engineering and data science experience
• Business Administration basics including basic financial knowledge
• Analytical mindset
