We have an excellent opportunity available for an experienced Finance Controller to make a difference at Kraft Heinz. The Finance Controller position lies within the Kraft Heinz MEA Zone based in Dubai- UAE. You’ll be working in a high-performing team- alongside peers who are always trying to reach the next level. Get ready for a lot of exposure to internal senior stakeholders. The delivery of Kraft Heinz MEA Financial Reporting and Control will be your primary responsibility. You are constantly looking for improvements in processes and activities.
In brief- you will be responsible for:
- Managing the day-to-day accounting- ensuring that all entries are booked and recorded on a timely basis in accordance with Group accounting requirements
- Complete the month-end close process in SAP to tight group reporting deadlines
- Review and approve monthly balance sheet reconciliations and group reporting packs
- Lead VAT and tax compliance liaising with tax advisors and FDA
- Implement process improvements and drive change by continually seeking to enhance and improve business processes and controls
- Identify- recommend & test necessary changes in accounting systems to meet growing business needs
- Liaise with internal and external auditors
- Ensure that the treasury management and banking functions operate in accordance with legislative- regulatory and organizational requirements
- Completion of cash flows and forecasting including liaising with local and regional departments on FP&A activities
- Partnering with commercial teams for monitoring trade fund spending and creating and monitoring full company P&L with customer/channel profitability reports
What you bring:
- Degree in Accounting/Finance – Masters’ degree- ACCA or CPA
- Work Experience: 5-6 years’ relevant experience in financial & management accounting particularly FMCG
- IFRS / US GAAP experience preferred
- Prior experience SAP preferred
- Managing people is essential and leadership skills is a must
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent oral communication skills- good written communication skill; interpersonal and follow-up skills
