Our curriculum is based on the National Curriculum for England, but is influenced by current global topics and nuances of the UAE, meeting the specific interests of our international community of children. What we are looking for?

Teacher of Accounting

Our forward thinking and progressive British Curriculum School in Dubai is looking for an ‘Outstanding’ Teacher of Accounting, offering GCSE, and A Level courses, our school offers a truly international environment for our students, with a distinctly British flavour. The secondary and Post 16 phases of our school are on their way to ‘Very Good’ as per the DSIB Framework, we are looking to recruit a dynamic, passionate teacher who will join us on our road to ‘Outstanding’.

We are looking for a Teacher of Accounting who:

• Has a undergraduate degree or major Accounting
• Has a PGCE/B.Ed in Commerce/Accounting
• Has experience of teaching in a British School/British Curriculum School
• Has experience of teaching AQA, Edexcel or equivalent British exam boards
• Has evidence of ‘Outstanding’ teaching practice, or the ability to become outstanding
• Is confident in planning engaging, student led lessons
• Is an expert in their subject of Business Studies and has the passion to inspire a love of learning in students
• Has the ability to use classroom technology to enrich the learning experience of our students
• Is an excellent team player, willing to contribute significantly to the department
• Is willing to make a contribution to the extra curricular life of the school
