KBR is looking for a
Sr. Expeditor/Logistics Coordinator
to join our team for an exciting opportunity supporting the USAID NexGen Global Health Supply Chain Program as Integrated Procurement Service Agent (PSA). This is a full-time position based in Dubai, UAE that will accommodate a hybrid remote/office work schedule. The Sr. Expeditor/Logistics Coordinator will work under the direct supervision of the Sr. Procurement and Logistics Manager within the Procurement team and actively participate in the achievement of the PSA objectives, ensuring the ordered products are delivered on time for the fulfilment of the clients’ orders.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Contacts suppliers by email, phone, or visit, to ensure that the correct materials in the correct quantities, arrive to the destination, according to the scheduled delivery dates.
Monitors and documents the changes in the supply chain process, and informs customers/management of supply status.
Coordinates movement and expedites the flow of products from suppliers, in the warehouse and throughout the delivery to destination.
Verifies accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments, in accordance with the terms & conditions of the purchase, INCOTERMS, import/export regulations and client specific instructions.
Provides guidance to warehouse and logistics personnel for packing and shipping.
Completes subcontract invoice verification in accordance with the established rates and audits supporting documentation to ensure compliance.
May be required to perform or supervise inspection and receiving of products for quality and quantity to ensure adherence to specifications.
Establishes priorities for the completion of assigned tasks to meet customer satisfaction.
Ensures execution of tasks and maintains shipment files in compliance with policies, procedures, and business strategy.
Works closely with other functions and the business areas of the PSA (i.e. buyers, warehouse personnel, logistics providers and quality assurance) to ensure accurate and timely fulfilment of the client order.
May provide guidance, orientation and training to less experienced team members.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education/Experience
HS Diploma, Associate Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or other related field, or equivalent work experience in lieu of education.
Minimum 4 years of experience in expediting, logistics and supply chain management.
Minimum 1 year supervisory experience.
Excellent written and oral English Language and any other foreign language.
Required Skills/Training/Competencies
Successful experience in expediting, inventory, warehouse management, and logistics of medical equipment, consumables and pharmaceuticals.
Knowledge of international shipment terminology, INCOTERMS, export compliance, import/export requirements, especially in the UAE and EU.
Demonstrated success in developing and fostering relationships with suppliers.
High competency level in use of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, as a minimum).
Experience in the use of an ERP, WMS, TMS, LMS.
Ability to work productively in high-paced environment, keeping emotions under control in difficult situations, maintaining positive outlook at work, accepting constructive criticism and learning from it.
