What you will do

The Regional Sales Manager will be reporting directly to the VP – Digital Business Development. You will be based in Dubai and will be part of the team who is currently focused on delivering innovative Digital Solutions and contents for a rapidly growing building solutions organization committed to make this world a better place to live.

As a Regional Sales Manager you will support the sellers during the sales process by providing specifics around solutions / product/offering, application engineering and how it enables customer outcomes. Continuous identification of new product use cases and supporting how JCI Digital Solutions can develop new technology and solutions to help customers solve new use cases.

You will work within a vibrant environment that provides a platform for you to use your project management skills coupled with your industry knowledge to deliver on our business objectives for our Middle East and Africa region.

How you will do it

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will,

• Identify customer pain points & relevant use-cases based on internal / external customer opportunities. Align and test value proposition (digital or enabled-by-digital) to customer needs.

• Close-Jointly define roadmap with milestones, next steps, and timeline with customer success teams.

• Drive commercial solution proposal template and refresh it as the solution / product features enhance.

• Manage & maintain-Onboard customers and conduct training. Sales enablement to branches and customers on solutions/product/offering, application engineering and how it enables customer outcomes.

• Manage & maintain – Customer adoption, support, and optimization

• Solution Council- Take feedback from voice of sales, voice of customers and give feedback to voice of product for agile road map and market adoption.

• Design deals going through specifications and customer requirements to meet functional requirements along with architecture.

• Build the pipeline and meet the target numbers for digital solution offerings within planned secured target as commercial solution lead.

• Provide solution engineering support to sales and marketing in finding technological solutions to customers’ needs.

• Ability to conduct solutions demos articulating the value to internal / external customers, as well as teach these skills to regional experts

• Manage a Sales Playbook for respective assigned solutions

• Ensure objective of the company, policies and quality system are implemented, understood and maintained at all levels.

• Ensure actions comply with legal & ethical standards to highest level of probity

• Participate in sessions with clients including ideation and proof of concept.

• Creating presentations and presenting to the customer and JCI key stakeholders.

• Co-ordination with GCOE (Center of Excellence) team to provide support to regional sellers

What we look for

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Master’s in business management would be an Advantage.
• 5-10 years of selling and technical experience
• 2+ years consultative solution selling with strong IT aptitude and background in minimum one of the following technologies: Building Management System (BMS) Big Data, Cloud computing, IoT, SaaS, PaaS
• Highly motivated business development — demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with senior business/technology managers and C-suite decision makers
• Must be able to effectively tie technology and business objectives to create demand, foster adoption of new solutions, and close deals
• Ability to work with internal JCI business units to created integrated solutions that address complex client and technological challenges
• Advanced communications skills to negotiate solutions and resolve issues with peers, partners and customers
• Proficiency level of English spoken and written.
