JACOBS has a strong track record in helping many of the world’s global cities develop visionary strategic designs and due to continued investment within the region our Middle East operation now seeks an experienced Sr ELV (Telecom & Control System) Engineer who is keen to gain exposure on large scale design projects and help deliver the Saudi Vision 2030 alongside the government’s strategy to grow and diversify the Saudi economy.

We’re seeking a Senior ELV (Telecom & Control) Engineer, to help deliver design engineering solutions on the King Salman International Complex for Maritime Industries and Services. You will have the opportunity to be part of a shipyard complex which when complete, will be the largest in the region, providing a combination of offshore structures fabrication, new ship building and maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services.

Based in Ras-Al-Khair, Saudi, you’ll will be responsible for the providing design solutions, coordination, specification, code compliance of the Telecom engineering at site. You will have extensive experience in Telecommunication /Security, BMS, Fire Alarm, PAGA system design on major Projects. You will be tasked with reviewing, checking, site work to ensure that the design requirement met at site. You will provide solutions to site queries raised by construction team in timely manner to avoid construction delays. You will participate in the internal meetings and report technical issues, area of concerns and meet with Client, Vendors and other third parties to resolve technical queries at site and provide sound technical and practical solutions. Additionally, you will be experienced in engineering and design for Telecommunication /Security system encompassing telephone system, hotline system, intercom system, LAN system, Wi-Fi system, Radio systems, CCTV system, ACS, PAGA system, IDS, Gate area security equipment, fibre optic networks etc. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing material requisitions, technical bid evaluation, recommendation & perform vendor drawing reviews.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

As a successful candidate you will have a degree in Telecommunication Engineering. You will also possess: –

• Experience in Conceptual Design, FEED and Detailed Engineering for Port-Maritime and Oil & Gas Projects.
• Extensive knowledge in above mentioned telecommunication/security systems.
• Must be familiar with International Codes and Standards. Exposure to Saudi Aramco Standards & Procedures is highly preferred.
• Middle East experience is highly preferred.
• Site experience is highly preferred.
