Principal Consultant – UAE based

External Description:

Informatica is currently looking for a Principal Consultant within Professional Services with experience in delivering Data Integration and Data Governance solutions to drive customer success and adoption, to join our team in Dubai.

Job Summary

As a Principal Consultant within the MEA Practice, you will be responsible for our clients’ success in implementing, adopting and succeeding with the Informatica Data Governance solution (using EDC, Axon, IDQ, DPC tools) and Data Integration projects (using IICS, DEI tools) from envisioning the correct implementation strategy to making it a reality. You are the client’s trusted expert and who can adapt to a fast-paced environment. You will have strong Solution advisory, architecture, communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

What You’ll Do

• Drive Data Governance and Data Integration solutions for our customers.
• Support our customers in the adoption of Informatica solutions and expand usage.
• Requirements gathering, architecture design, Operational planning and advise on Implementation roadmap based on established Informatica best practice.
• Work with the wider Informatica organisation to support our customers and their requirements.
• Support implementation planning, scoping and positioning DG and Cloud modernization journeys to our customers and partners.
• Provide knowledge sharing and project experience with our customers and partners.
• Enablement in the latest Informatica services to support the Informatica journeys.
• Mentor local team on DG/DI advisory skills.

• 10+ years of experience in delivering data related solutions for global customers.
• Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with an approachable communication style to win trust of clients, partners and colleagues from other cultures and regions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and consistently meet internal and external deadlines
• Hands-on experience of Informatica DI and DG tools (IICS, DEI, PC, EDC, Axon, IDQ) – or similar competitive products – is essential;
• Ability to put program roadmap and drive customer & partner stakeholders towards common goals.
• Ability to facilitate discussions and drive toward quick decisions
• Professional on-site customer integration experience, preferably with large systems integration firms or for an enterprise software services company;
• Experience developing conceptual and physical solution architectures for solutions incorporating heterogeneous applications, technologies and platforms;
• Thorough understanding of data modelling, physical schema properties, triggers, and stored procedures;
• Good understanding of current trends in data integration, data quality, Cloud ecosystems and business analytics technologies;
• Experience with relational databases, Hadoop and Cloud technologies.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time when required
