voco Dubai Palm The Palm is conveniently located on the trunk of the manmade island while being part of the newly launched “Palm West Beach”, a trendy and vibrant spot with an array of exceptional dining concepts. The 141 keys property is scheduled to open its doors to guests in late 2022.

Your day to day

As a Receiving Clerk cum Store Assistant you will be responsible to support the Assistant Purchasing Manager on process related to goods receiving and maintaining Beverage stores. Ensure good received into the hotel carries a valid LPO and the items are as per specifications. Any overage shortage to be reported to the Assistant Purchasing Manager and document the deviations. Maintain beverage inventory stores and assist in stock taking at the end of each month. Be flexible to assist other sections when needed eventually assist self on his/her development.

Your Responsibilities:

• Match the items received into the hotel to the LPOs and invoices
• Report deviations to the Assistant Purchasing Manager and obtain necessary approvals.
• Maintain records as per HACCP requirements
• Transfer the daily batch of goods received to Accounts Payable with proper approvals.
• Maintain Beverage store and follow store issuing timings.
• Participate in month end beverage inventory conducted by the Finance person in-charge.
• Treat suppliers with respect and seek assistance of the Purchasing Manager without engaging any heated arguments.
• Accountable for all goods received into the hotel and ensure confidentiality is maintained.
• Accountable for main beverage store inventory.
• Support teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with key department heads.
• Manage day-to-day activities and performance as desired for the betterment of the organization.
• Ensure accounting policies and procedures are followed.
  • Understand and strictly adhere to the Rules & Regulations established in the e Hotel’s policy on Food Safety, Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.

What we need from you

• 1-2 years of experience in similar room
• Good practical, operational and adequate administrative skills.
• A naturally outgoing and friendly personality with a passion for service excellence to consistently deliver and demonstrate voco™ service standards
• A true “team-player” mentality and flexible attitude towards a diverse set of tasks
