Job Description: Accountant 

Position: Accountant

Location: Business Bay, Dubai

Experience: 3-5 years UAE experience

Salary: AED 5,000 per month

Nationality: Filipino/Indian

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain financial records and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

Analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, including monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements

Reconcile bank statements and ensure that all transactions are recorded accurately and timely

Prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations

Provide financial advice to clients or management, including budgeting and forecasting

Knowledge about and LC and other commercial trade practices

Participate in audits, providing support and advice to auditors as needed

Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field UAE Experienced will be preferable

Proven work experience as an accountant or similar role

Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and best practices

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently with minimum supervision

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite

Skills

• Strong understanding of accounting aspects like balance sheets, cash flow management, business forecast, and profitability.
• Proven command of negotiation skills to build long-lasting partnerships with clients.
• Adept in data analysis, interpretation, and use of modern accounting techniques.
• Sound knowledge of different types of financial reports and balance sheets.
• Hands-on experience in handling MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
